Vita Coco is committed to helping distribute up to 10 million seedlings and trees to communities around the world by 2030.
OUR GOAL: DISTRIBUTE 10MM SEEDLINGS BY 2030
In collaboration with our partners like HOPE, Silvermill Foundation, Apremavi, Natureza Bella, and Arbor Day Foundation, we are engaging in global reforestation initiatives. Our global focus is on revitalizing communities and enhancing the economic well-being of farming communities. This involves replacing aging coconut trees with new seedlings and establishing green spaces in neighborhoods.
The impact of these efforts is evident in our support for farming communities across the tropics, ensuring the cultivation of future generations of high-quality nut-producing trees. Additionally, we contribute to ecosystem conservation and biodiversity by rebuilding and restoring communities in North America.

We strive to minimize our impact on the environment, which includes reducing our carbon footprint. That’s why we offset the carbon footprint on all orders placed on our website with carbon neutral shipping through EcoCart. We also offer customers the option to match our contribution and double the offset, making their order carbon positive.

We believe that everyone in our growing communities deserves an environment where they can grow and learn skills crucial for a promising future. Together with our partners HOPE and Silvermill Foundation, we build schools and classrooms and provide grant scholarships through the Vita Coco Project®.

We are dedicated to promoting health and wellness in our communities by addressing access to nutrition, food insecurity, physical wellbeing, and mental and emotional wellness.
Feeding America
Feeding America is the largest hunger-relief organization in the United States and works to address the issue of hunger across the nation. We partner with Feeding America to distribute Vita Coco products via their nationwide network to food banks, food pantries, and community-based organizations around the country.
More Than a Meal
While our national partnership allows us to address food insecurity on a larger scale, we also recognize the importance of addressing the specific needs of our local communities. That’s why we also partner with local organizations like More Than a Meal in New York City to support their mission to build culturally inclusive, community-owned food programs, increase access to nutritious food options, and improve overall health outcomes.

&Mother empowers moms and caregivers to prioritize their physical wellbeing and help them be incredible athletes at the same time. Together, we strive to support caregivers in breaking barriers towards gender equity and empowering them to excel in their journey through community runs, hydration, and lactation support.
Genesys Works
Genesys Works is focused on creating roadmaps for high school students and providing skills training and confidence through work experience and mentoring. High school students involved with Genesys Works may enroll in Vita Coco’s year-long young leaders’ program, where they work within various Vita Coco departments to explore potential career interests.
